At the age of seven, they began their journey as amateur boxers. By their teenage years, they were already competing against notable fighters like Sugar Shane Mosley. At 21, they turned professional, sparring with legends such as Marvin Hagler and Michael Nunn. When they fought on the same card, the crowd would often be confused, thinking the same fighter kept reappearing due to their identical looks.
The Weavers earned a special place in the hearts of boxing fans as the first and only boxing triplets. They remain inseparable, cherishing time spent with their families and enjoying video games together. Lloyd has designed a video game accessory called the Lumi Box with two patents on file.
Floyd, Lloyd and Troy were hard hitting quality action fighters and made boxing history to headline on the same card. Their older brother, Mike Weaver is a World Heavyweight Champion. Now that is a boxing family that needs to be remembered in our boxing history.
